The public M&A market in Norway down 41.6% by the end of the first quarter 2020

The corona virus left its mark on the listed acquisition market in Norway, and experienced a percentage decrease of as much as 41.6 per cent in the number of announced agreements compared with the same period in 2019. The reported agreement values ​​also fell significantly. The average contract value fell from € 209 million in the first quarter of 2019 to € 33.6 million for the same period in 2020.
