Skogstrøm and Hege Dahl as new partners.
Gard A. Skogstrøm
Gard's key area of expertise is M&A transactions, equity capital transactions, corporate law/shareholder matters and contract law, recently from his position within the corporate/M&A department of Arntzen de Besche law firm. Gard has prior in-house experience from companies in the FMCG and financial services industries, and continue to focus on the broader consumer goods/retail/services sectors. He also has experience from complex M&A work in the offshore services sector. According to MergerMarket statistics, Gard is among the top 25 Norwegian M&A lawyers by number of transactions he has contributed to during the past 5 years. He is also advisor to several startups.
Gard joined Aabø-Evensen & Co in February 2017 and will mainly focus on M&A.
Hege has extensive experience with capital markets and securities law matters. Hege has prior experience from Oslo Stock Exchange, as deputy judge and from the Financial Markets Department of the Ministry of Finance, and most recently as senior attorney in the corporate/M&A department of Arntzen de Besche law firm.
Hege's key area of expertise is securities and exchange law, as well as financial markets regulatory matters. She advices issuers, investors and investment banks in connection with IPOs, equity issues and M&A transactions in listed securities, as well as matters of corporate governance, disclosure issues and the handling of inside information. She also advice financial institutions on regulatory matters. Hege has recently been appointed secretary of a government mandated committee which shall review and overhaul the Norwegian rules governing mandatory and voluntary offers for listed companies, making her a go-to advisor in connection with takeover situations.
Hege joined Aabø-Evensen & Co in June 2017 and will mainly focus on capital markets and securities law matters.
